It takes about 40 minutes to an hour to go at your own pace through the 14 stations. Come and go as you please anytime during the day.
Experience for yourself an interactive recreation of the sights and sounds of a central event of the Christian faith. Walk through 14 engaging "stations" that follow the final hours of Jesus' natural life, traditionally observed as "Good Friday" leading up to Easter Sunday.
Touch your fingers to a crown of thorns...
Dip them in a bowl of myrrh...
Feel the force of a spike driven into a cross...
The Stations of the Cross is an experiential journey - a deeply moving artistic reenactment of Jesus' last days on Earth. Fourteen "stations" lead you through Christ's final steps and sufferings, from his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane to his ultimate death and burial. At each stop along the journey, you have the opportunity to pray together, to read and meditate on a passage of Scripture, and to participate in an activity designed to help you understand the nature of Jesus' passion. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 ESV
Because of its interactive format, The Stations of the Cross is a powerful experience for small groups or families (even those with young children).
You won't be obligated to do, say, or give anything; just given an opportunity to see what millions hold to be sacred.
