A Contemplative Good Friday Walkthrough
Presented by Ethnos Church in Beaverton
Good Friday - April 10, 2009
5:00 am to 10:00 pm
Injustice, betrayal, torture - death. Each year, on Good Friday, the people of Ethnos gather to remember the high price paid for our redemption.
The Stations of the Cross is an experiential journey - a deeply moving artistic reenactment of Jesus' last days on Earth. Fourteen "stations" lead you through Christ's final steps and sufferings, from his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane to his ultimate death and burial. At each stop along the journey, you will be encouraged to pray together, to read and meditate on a passage of Scripture, and to participate in a relevant activity.
Because of its interactive format, The Stations of the Cross is a powerful experience for small groups or families (even those with young children).
Please help spread the word to church communities,
friends and family!
